On Sunday 03 September 2023, a festive Sunday marked as Friendship Day, District Apostle J Kriel conducted a divine service in Parkside Congregation, East London.
The music by the orchestra and choir set a joyful and festive tone for a blessed encounter at the altar.
The Bible word used as the basis for the divine service was taken from Romans 5:19.
The District Apostle welcomed the congregation and especially the friends and guests who accepted the invitation to share the morning in fellowship.
The District Apostle reassured the congregation of God's love and unwavering care for those who trust and believe in Him. Although humankind is sinful, God's forgiveness is beyond all understanding. He elaborated on how man will not enter God's Kingdom through his good deeds or social status, be they rich or poor, but through conviction, belief and trust in God the Saviour.
Apostle N Nene was also called to serve.
After the divine service, the District Apostle availed himself to greet the congregation upon exiting the hall.
