Jerusalem Congregation in the Mpumalanga East Apostle Area rarely gets any measure of attention as the world-renowned majestic ‘Holy City of God’. However, the congregation experienced its own moments of joy when, on Sunday, 27 August 2023 Apostle Jan Mabaso conducted a divine service there.

The Apostle used James 1: 18 as basis for the sermon, “Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” In his teaching, the Apostle called upon the congregation to manifest the fruit of the Spirit, particularly love, peace and self-control and thereby lay the foundation to be the first to attain perfect fellowship with God.

Bishop Vusie Ndubane was also called up to serve along.
