Apostle G. Mintoor visited Forest Hill congregation on 27 August 2023 to place Shepherd A. Kannemeyer into retirement. 

As basis for the service, the Apostle used a word of wisdom and encouragement from Proverbs 24:16. 

Bishop Frans Flores was also called to serve the congregation.

Before the conclusion of the divine service, Community Evangelist H. Uithaler was appointed as the new Rector for the Forest Hill congregation.

After the divine service, it could be sensed that everyone who attended was filled with new courage and wisdom.
