Narraville congregation at Walvis Bay hosted their second event for the Young People on Saturday, 12 August 2023. Dubbed the 'Youth Mini Olympic Games', all youth of the congregation were invited to participate. The event also served as a welcoming for the new youth that were confirmed in February this year.
The Mini Olympic Games were designed as a team building event with various challenges - the youth had to work together in teams to win. The winning team of each individual game or challenge scored 10 points. In the end, the Thunder Buddies beat the Barbie Dolls 150-60.
10 Young People attended the Games at the Walvis Bay Youth Centre, together with the Youth leader, Sister Jaygon Lewin, and members of the congregation.This also served as a proper ice breaker for the new youth.
