On Sunday morning 13 August 2023, Vanderbijlpark congregation was blessed to host a divine service conducted by the District Apostle Helper MP Mkhwanazi.
The Bible word used for the divine service came from 2 Chronicles 6:30-31.
The District Apostle Helper Mkhwanazi explained how God looks at our heart and how He knows what motivates us. He also talked about aligning ourselves to the will of God.
Rector Hendrik Bester was called upon to serve along in Afrikaans.
During the divine service, 8 souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing.
After the divine service, the District Apostle Helper, accompanied by District Rector E Kuchenbecker, also visited the Retired Shepherd de Beer, who had been in hospital recently. Shepherd de Beer was the rector of the Vereeniging congregation for many years.
