On Sunday 13 August 2023, Apostle Gavin van der Hoven visited Worcester-North Congregation.

The Apostle used the Bible word Isaiah 37:31 as basis for the divine service.

The Apostle was accompanied by Bishop J Cook, along with all the Rectors of Worcester District, together with their wives.

Bishop J Cook was also called upon to serve along. 

Before the celebration of Holy Communion, four souls received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing.

Further joy was experienced when two ministers were ordained for the congregation: brothers Lorenzo Abrahams and Jean Paul Siljeur received the Deacon ministry.

After the closing prayer, the choir delivered a powerful rendition of “How lovely is Zion”, thereby concluding a most blessed and unforgettable time in the house of God.

After the divine service, the Apostle took time to greet the congregation and took photographs with the members and ministers, whereafter he enjoyed fellowship with the members.
