District Apostle J Kriel visited KwaZulu-Natal for the Dare2Care weekend, where young people from Mpumalanga and Kimberely converged in Durban, alongside the local young people for a weekend of fun, charity, and learning more about their faith.
The highlight of the weekend culminated in a special divine service for young people in the Wentworth Congregation on Sunday 6 August 2023, held by the District Apostle.
The District Apostle used 1 Timothy 4:12 as the basis for the divine service, “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
Apostle M Mkhwanazi and District Elder M Scott were called to serve the joyous congregation.
A joyful atmosphere filled the auditorium throughout the divine service which was made special by the singing of English and IsiZulu hymns.
After the divine service, travelling youth from Mpumalanga and Kimberley were handed meals for their journey. Thereafter, they headed back home, after a wonderful weekend where friendships and experiences were made.
