Southern Africa
It was a freezing cold day on Saturday, 29 July 2023 when the new Sunday school curriculum training was rolled out in the Southern Free State District, under the care of Apostle NT Nene.
Despite unpleasant weather conditions with temperatures below 10 degrees, the Sunday school teachers showed their love and commitment to the work of the Lord with vigour and enthusiasm.
They travelled from Edenburg, Bethulie and Colesberg areas to Springfontein to attend the training session.
The District Evangelist Vincent Peterson opened the morning with a prayer and welcomed everyone. Short introductions were made by all those in attendance before the Apostle area co-ordinator, Sister Santy Bruiners commenced with the training.
Teachers participated in the activities with enthusiasm and were very eager to learn. After the training the teachers had fellowship while enjoying a welcomed, hot cup of soup and homemade fat cakes (vetkoek).
Priest Anthony Green, the District Sunday School co-ordinator, closed the day with a prayer whereafter everyone went on their travels back home.
A productive morning came to a blessed conclusion.
