On Monday 17 July 2023, an informative evening for members involved in the music of the Cape Boland Apostle area took place in Durbanville congregation. The meeting was well attended and thoroughly enjoyed by those in attendance.

Attendees were welcomed into the venue by beautiful orchestral music. The festive rendition of the hymn “God is our strength and refuge” set the tone for the meeting.

After the opening hymn, Apostle Gavin van der Hoven commenced the meeting with a prayer and a few words of encouragement. 

The main presenters of the evening were John Rodrigues, Clarke Schilder, and Jonathan Roberts.

The underlying theme for the meeting was Musica Sub Verbo Dei (Music under the word of God). 

Everyone enjoyed fellowship, a cup of hot coffee, and something sweet after the close of the meeting.
