Norman and Amanda Francis vowed their love and loyalty to one another when they received their marriage blessing on 7 July 1973 in Pietermaritzburg.
On Sunday 9 July 2023, District Elder C Dreyer visited Plettenberg Bay congregation, where the couple now attends.
Fifty years later, the couple were once again called to take their place at the altar when the District Elder bestowed the golden wedding anniversary blessing on them.
