In June 2023, the first of 3 photography workshops took place in Welgelegen Congregation. 14 photographers from the Cape Peninsula, Cape Boland and Bellville Apostle areas attended the session.

The workshop focused on improving the skills of the photographers in the local Apostle areas by teaching them how to use their gear.

The workshop, presented by Delmaine Viret, a full time photographer and church volunteer, is 90% practical and allows the participants time to ask questions.

Part of the session is also focuses on etiquette for divine services.

Workshops in the Cape Boland area (23 July) and Cape Peninsula (30 July) have also been set up.
