On Friday 23 June 2023, Apostle Gavin Van Der Hoven arranged a special fellowship for all the Bishops, District Rectors and Apostle Area Coordinators with their spouses to say farewell to Apostle Lekay, Bishop Kotze, District Rectors Maharage and Jackson as they will now form part of the new West Coast Apostle Area. The Apostle also paid tribute to District Elder Mervyn Maharage who will be placed into retirement on 9 July 2023.

The Bishop Cook (Robertson and Worcester Districts) and District Rector Beelders (Welgelegen District) and Cook (Hex River District) were also warmly welcomed into the Cape Boland Apostle Area.
