On 18 June 2023, Apostle Robert Worship conducted the Sunday morning divine service in Retreat-East congregation. This marked Apostle Worship's inaugural divine service as the responsible Apostle for the newly formed Cape-Peninsula Apostle area.

The Bible Word for the service was taken from Matthew 16:18. “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it.”

The Apostle elaborated on the aforementioned message, emphasising that the church belongs to Jesus Christ and that He governs it through His Love and the Gift of the Holy Spirit. The defining characteristic of the Church and the congregation should be evident in our adherence to God's commandments, our love for God, and our love for our neighbours.

Priest Lyndon Bredekamp was called upon to serve along. During the divine service, four babies were welcomed into the congregation through the sacrament of Holy Sealing.

At the conclusion of the divine service, the choir presented a joyful rendition of Joseph Haydn's "Achieved is the Glorious Work." The Apostle then took a moment to greet the congregation, whereafter photographs were taken with the congregation and the Priestly ministers.
