On Sunday 18 June 2023, young people across the Mpumalanga East Apostle Area congregated for divine services that were dedicated to them. One such service was conducted by Apostle Jan Mabaso for the young people of Pienaar District.

The Apostle used the Bible word Phillip 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” as the basis for the divine service. He exhorted the young people to remain steadfast in their faith life despite continuing to bear the brunt of, among others, climate change, energy shortages and failure at school. He further requested them to turn to Christ who accepts them as they are and can fulfil their needs.

The Apostle also used the service to appoint Priest John Masinga as the new Rector for Nyamazane Congregation.

Similar services were conducted for Mgwenya and Nkomazi East Districts, and they were conducted by Bishop J Milazi and Priest R Lubisi respectively. The services were followed by informal meetings and sport activities.
