On Saturday 17 June 2023, members from across the Woodlands district answered the call made by Apostle Bourne in a bid to gather much needed clothing, blankets, towels, and food donations for members in the area who were affected by the storm-lashed Cape area. All donations were dropped off at Morgenster church and will be handed over to various distribution points across the Cape Coastal area; namely the Klipfontein Mission working area of Community Evangelist Patrick Arendse, the Khayelitsha working area of Community Evangelist Patrick Madekase, and the area of Sandvlei.
