It was a blessed encounter on Thursday evening, June 8, when Apostle Mandla Mkhwanazi visited the Durban Central Congregation for the first time since assuming responsibility for the KZN-Mpumalanga District.
The members, who congregate in an old-age home hall near Durban's south beach, have waited with eager anticipation for the Apostle's visit and prepared the way with enthusiastic choir and orchestra practices.
The Apostle based the divine service on a Bible word taken from Luke 15:31, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours'
During the divine service, two children and one adult were added to the fold through the act of Holy Sealing.
After the divine service, and while the Apostle greeted the congregation, the joy from the divine service unfolded into spontaneous songs of praise by the choir, adding to the blessed occasion with traditional African hymns.
