The visit of Apostle Peter Lambert to Idas Valley congregation brought much joy on Tuesday, 6 June 2023. The Apostle based the divine service on a Bible word recorded in Luke 24:50-51. Adding to the joy was the Holy sealing of 5 babies and 4 adults.
After the celebration of Holy Communion, the Apostle terminated the Rector mandates of Priests Jerome Pieterse and Reon King. Priest Pieterse will henceforth serve as a section Priest in Idas Valley, and Priest King as a section Priest in Rustenburg. The Apostle thanked them for their sacrifices of love during their tenure as Rectors.
Priest Gavin Stols, previously the Rector of De Doorns congregation, was then called to the altar and appointed as the new Rector of Idas Valley congregation.
