On Thursday 1 June 2023, Apostle Peter Lambert conducted a divine service in Cloetesville congregation.

The sermon was based on the Bible word from John 1: 48-49.

After the serving of Holy Communion, the Apostle placed the Rector, Shepherd Frank Bucchianeri and Priest Nelson Solomons into retirement. These servants served in various congregations over the years as well as performed mission work in the outlying congregations. The Apostle thanked them for their labours of love.

Thereafter, Community Evangelist Manfred Jacobs, previously Rector of Wemmershoek congregation, was appointed as the new Rector of Cloetesville.

Moments of fellowship were spent together after the divine service.
