On Sunday 04 June 2023, Apostle Mandla Mkhwanazi visited Georgedale congregation in the Pietermaritzburg District.
The Apostle was accompanied by Bishop Shabangu.
Despite the cold weather, the members were undeterred in their commitment to attend the highly anticipated divine service conducted by the Apostle. The biblical foundation for the service was drawn from 2 Corinthians 13:14.
Bishop Shabangu was also asked to serve along.
During the divine service, two children and one adult received the gift of the Holy Spirit during the act of Holy Sealing.
The members were given a heartfelt encouragement to persevere in prayer, regardless of the circumstances they may encounter.
In the afternoon, the Apostle visited Woodlands congregation. The preparations made by the congregation, orchestra, choir, and Sunday school were truly remarkable, setting the stage for the highly anticipated Apostle service, which served as the highlight of the weekend.
The Rector of Woodlands congregation, Priest Ngibongiseni Mpanza, was also asked to serve.
During the divine service, four children received the gift of the Holy Spirit during the act of Holy Sealing.
The congregation received expressions of gratitude from the Apostle for their sincere and dedicated preparation.
