Responding to the call of our District Apostle during the Rectors' conference in January 2023, the Rector of Edenpark congregation, Community Evangelist Neil Johnson and his team worked tirelessly to encourage the members to also support this initiative. 

The purpose of this initiative is to encourage more members to attend the midweek divine service. In order to overcome the many challenges that make this difficult, the idea is to take the church to the members. 

Since April this year, a number of members have already volunteered to open their houses for a midweek home divine service. 

On Wednesday 24 May 2023, the congregation recorded a record attendance of 83 members from just two home service points.

During his visit to the Edenpark congregation on Wednesday, 31 May 2023, Apostle Mandla Mkhwanazi made special mention of this and also expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the members for supporting their Rector in this initiative.
