On Sunday 14 May 2023, Apostle Peter Lambert dispensed the diamond anniversary blessing on the retired District Elder Freddy Goodman and his wife, Rosaline.
The Apostle, accompanied by the District Rector, Priest Robert Fredericks and ministers and members of Hawston congregation gathered at the home of the anniversary couple to dispense this special blessing.
The Apostle used a Bible word from Psalm 103:2 as a basis for this special occasion, and underlined the value that they found in each other as a couple over the last 60 years. Surrounded by family and close friends, the couple could express their joy and thankfulness to the Lord.
