On Freedom Day, Thursday, 27 April 2023, the young people leader of De Aar District, Priest Orison Bekeer, accompanied the young people of De Aar and Montana congregations on a fun walk and a hike. Also joining in the day was a few of the local ministers of the area.

District Elder Anthony Hermanus commenced the morning with a prayer and wished them a joyful day. The group were very excited, and a beautiful atmosphere prevailed amongst them.  They walked 7 kilometres and did a mini hike on the surrounding mountain hills.

Everyone enjoyed themselves and after the activities they were served sandwiches and soft drinks for lunch.

The young people were thanked for their participation in the days activities and encouraged to join in future, upcoming events.
