Sunday School teachers reminded of their monumental task

More than 1 600 Sunday School teachers, representing over 7 000 children in the Cape Central Apostle Area, gathered in Lavistown for a divine service and workshop on Sunday, 12 March 2023.

For the special service, the District Rector, District Elder B Scholtz read a Bible word from Romans 6:4, “Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in the newness of life”.

The District Rector encouraged the teachers to allow the Holy Spirit to be the driving force behind their continuous spiritual renewal.

Community Evangelist J Smal, the District Rector of Table Bay District, was called to serve along.

After the divine service, the teachers enjoyed a quick snack, followed by the 2-hour workshop.
