Jesus came forth from the Father

On Wednesday 15 February 2023, District Apostle J Kriel conducted a divine service in Maitland Congregation.

He was accompanied by Apostle R Worship and the District Rectors and Rectors of the Table Bay area.

The Bible word for the divine service was taken from John 16:28, “I came forth from the Father and have come into the world.  Again, I leave the world and go to the Father.”

During the divine service, the District Apostle said that Jesus came into this world and was not spared; He suffered as we do today. He prevailed because He knew that He had to experience much, because His goal was to be with the Father. The District Apostle explained that we are sent to be witnesses of Christ and to be a light to those who need it. Therefore, we should always allow the nature of Jesus to manifest in us.

District Rector David Smith was also called to serve along.
