On Sunday 29 January 2023, Priest Mervin Wannenberg invited the confirmands to join him after church on an excursion where they had loads of fun doing a photoshoot at the beautiful Kylemore mountains.  Hard work doing a photoshoot deserved a brunch at McDonalds whereafter the confirmands joined the Priest in paying a house visit to a senior member of the church and serving her with Holy Communion.  The next Sunday, 5 February 2023 was the confirmation service. 

After a blessed service, to the confirmands, their parents and congregation’s grand surprise, Priest Wannenberg had a special delivery for each of them namely a cake with an edible photo of themselves. The photos were the same ones that were taken the week before and the confirmands had no idea that the fun day had a more beautiful purpose, they were well surprised and very thankful for the thoughtful gesture.
