Sunday 19 February 2023 brought about the visit of District Apostle J Kriel to Ocean View Congregation.  

He was accompanied by the Apostle B Bourne, Bishop G James and a few District Rectors from the area.

The Bible word for the divine service was taken from Exodus 20:2-3, “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.”

The District Apostle emphasised that God is with us always, no matter our condition and circumstances. The District Apostle also encouraged the congregation to serve the God we know and no other false gods.

The District Rector, Shepherd Zane Pillay was also called to serve along.

The choir ended the divine service with the rendition of the hymn, “Almighty God, how wondrous.”

After the divine service, The District Apostle thanked the congregation for their prayers and sacrifices and wished them well for the future.

The morning concluded with the District Apostle greeting the congregation and taking some photographs with the choir members and ministers.
