The congregation of Saxonsea received their first visit from Apostle Gavin van der Hoven on Sunday, 12 February 2023.

The Apostle used the Bible word from Matthew 5:16 as basis for the divine service, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven”.

The Apostle mentioned to the congregation that Chief Apostle touched on the same Bible word when he conducted a divine service in Saxonsea on 4 December 2022.  

During the divine service, the Apostle performed the act of Holy Sealing on 63 souls. The Apostle also placed Community Evangelist Patrick Walkers and Deacon Leonard Arendse into retirement.   

Community  Evangelist Arthur Aspeling was appointed as the new Rector for the congregation of Saxonsea.
