On Sunday 12 February 2023, Apostle Gerome Mintoor conducted a divine service in Palmridge Congregation.

The Bible word for the divine service was taken out of 1 Thessalonians 2-3 . “We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, remembering  without ceasing your work of faith, labour of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father.”

The Apostle was accompanied by Bishop F Flores along with various District Rectors and Rectors of Fernwood Park District.

During the divine service, the Apostle placed the Rector of Palmridge Congregation, District Elder William Coutts into retirement after serving in the ministry for 39 years. The Apostle also appointed Community Evangelist Eugene Koopman as the new Rector of Palmridge and Community Evangelist Alexander Windvogel as the Rector of Arcadia Congregation.

A vibrant and festive congregation in fellowship was experienced by all in attendance.
