The Northern Cape-Free State Apostle Area’s District Rectors and Rectors were excited to host a Rector’s Conference in Beaconsfield Congregation, Kimberley on 11 February 2023.

The following day, a divine service for Rectors was conducted in Albertynshof Congregation, Kimberley.

District Apostle J Kriel was accompanied by District Apostle Helper P Lambert and Apostle W Von Schaeffer for both of these occasions.

District Rectors and Rectors from the Apostle Area from as far as Namibia also attended the conference.  The conference was preceded by the registration of all present and a light breakfast was served. Thereafter, the District Apostle welcomed all and opened the session with a prayer. The District Apostle Helper presented the Guide for Ministers and various other topics. Lunch was served after which the final session commenced.  At the conclusion of the conference, the District Apostle thanked all for their attendance and interaction during the session.

Whilst supper was prepared at the venue, the District Rectors and Rectors had a recorder and choir practice in preparation for the divine service the following day. After beautiful moments spent together, everyone left to their respective homes and stayovers for those who travelled in.

On Sunday 12 February 2023, the District Apostle conducted a divine service in Albertynshof Congregation. The Bible word used as a basis for the divine service was Genesis 37:8a. The District Apostle Helper was also called to serve.

More than 70 brothers served as a male choir - amongst those who played recorders before and during the divine service.

After the divine service the District Apostle, the District Apostle Helper and the Apostle greeted the ministers in attendance.
