Thursday, 12 January 2023 was indeed a very special day for the congregation of Wemmershoek in the Stellenbosch District. With great excitement, the congregation welcomed Apostle Werner Von Schaeffer from the Kimberley Apostle Area to the congregation. This was the Apostle’s first-ever visit to the area.
James 1: 17-18 served as basis for the sermon where Apostle Von Schaeffer meticulously explained how Jesus Christ gives perfect gifts in a perfect manner to His own.
During the divine service, 3 babies, 4 children and 7 adults received the gift of the Holy Spirit. Brother Recardo Visser was ordained into the Deacon ministry. The special evening fittingly concluded with a congregational fellowship with congregants spending some time in the company of the visiting Apostle.
