After serving as a minister for 37 years, Priest Patrick Hoofd of Johnson Park congregation was placed into well-deserved retirement by Bishop Jerome Cook on Wednesday 18 January 2023.

Accompanied by District Rector, Community Evangelist Sydney Cook, the Bishop used John 8:51 as the Bible word for this blessed and memorable occasion for all in attendance.

In thanking him for his dedication and service to the Lord, the Bishop remarked that Priest Hoofd was the first Priest ordained for the congregation of Johnson Park. He also thanked his wife and child for their role played during his tenure.
