“All the flowers in Darling are found in the Lord's house this morning”. With these words, the Apostle Gavin van der Hoven greeted a jubilant congregation on Sunday, 08 January 2023. 

The Apostle called the District Rector along to serve. He also bestowed the act of Holy sealing on 6 adults, 2 confirmands and 16 children. The Apostle also placed the Priest Barend Dan Hoop retirement. Priest Hoop served in the ministry for 34 years.

Great excitement filled the congregation from the commencement and before long the choir rendered a most powerful rendition of “This is the day the Lord made”. After the divine service, the congregation spent time with the Apostle taking pictures, and sharing precious moments, moments of laughter, joy and blessing with each other.
