On Sunday 01 January 2023, District Apostle John Kriel conducted the central AVT New Year’s divine service at Kabega Park Congregation. The divine service was conducted in English.

Summary:
■ God has elected us to serve Christ and reign with Him.
■ In the new creation, we will serve God by giving Him the worship He is due.
■ We will serve Christ and reign with Him in the kingdom of peace.
■ We serve Christ today by attending the divine services and doing His will.
■ Christ helps us to remain in control of our destiny.
