After serving in the ministry for 36 years, Bishop Jerome Cook placed Priest Norman Dreyer of Worcester North congregation into retirement on Wednesday 14 December in Worcester North.
For this midweek divine service, Luke 2:51b served as the basis for the sermon. District Rector Sydney Cook accompanied the Bishop.
Bishop Cook thanked the Priest for all his unselfish labours of love done over the years and for the many years he spent teaching and conducting choirs as part of the music development in the Worcester region. He also thanked his wife and family for their role and support to the Priest.
After the concluding anthem was sung by the congregation, the Bishop greeted the members and posed for pictures with the ministers and family of Priest Dreyer.
