On 13 December 2022, the New Apostolic Church Choir from Lentegeur District was invited by the management of Liberty Promenade, Mitchell’s Plain, to render Christmas Carols at the mall.
This event also took place in 2019, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic regulations and restrictions, this wonderful event could not take place in 2020 and 2021.
One could sense the excitement in the hearts of those who gathered as they awaited the renditions of the Christmas carols.
The onlookers and the crowd seated were entertained with Christmas carols which included “Silent night”, “Christmas is a time for love”, “Dit is weer Kersfees” and “Hark the herald angels sing.”
The highlight of the evening was when the management of Liberty Promenade handed over a donation to the Masakhe foundation.
The delightful evening was closed with a powerful rendition of “We wish you a merry Christmas.”
