On Tuesday 6 December 2022, the newly ordained Apostle Gavin Van der Hoven surprised the members of New Orleans in Paarl District. 

The Rectors of Paarl District welcomed him on his arrival. The choir and orchestra members were pleasantly surprised to see the Apostle and Bishops waiting for them as doorkeepers before entering the church hall. Thereafter, he shared a few thoughts with the choir and opened proceedings with a prayer.

The congregation will welcome District Apostle J Kriel to their congregation on Sunday, 11 December 2022.
