On Sunday 13 November 2022, a Deacon Development Programme was held at the Northpine Technical High School for all Deacons across our District.

The workshop started off with a blessed divine service conducted by Priest Cecil De Wet, where the message was “We are preparing for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ”.

Thereafter, the workshop was kicked off by Deacon Fergus Samaai with a heartily and warm welcome to the Deacons. This session was covered by 3 modules - Pastoral Care, Need for a Deacon and lastly, leadership.

Great moments of fellowship was experienced among the ministers. The Deacon Development Programme was then concluded by Shepherd Peter Groenewald, wishing the brothers well in their task as ministers.
