On Sunday 16 October 2022, deacon Christopher and his wife Chantal Jefferies received their silver wedding blessing from District Elder David Andrews in the congregation of Drakenstein-Suid. Chantal was introduced to Christopher by his late brother Adrian who was a colleague. The relationship took shape over a period of time and they were engaged on 20 August 1996 and got married on 27 September 1998.
