On Sunday 15 November 2022, Bishop Grant James visited Westridge Congregation and bestowed the wonderful sacrament of Holy Baptism upon one baby, opening the way to eternal fellowship with the triune God. The Bible word serving as basis for the divine service was taken out of Matthew 24:44.

Bishop James also announced and informed the congregation of Westridge's upcoming appointments and changes within the congregation. The current Rector, Community Evangelist Clarence Cookson will be appointed as the District Rector of the Lentegeur District and the current Rector Helper Priest Randall Abrahams will be appointed as the Rector of Westridge congregation on Thursday, 01 December 2022 by Apostle Bradley Bourne.
