On Thursday 3 November 2022, District Apostle J Kriel, accompanied by Apostles G Mintoor, N Nene and Bishop F Flores visited Fernwood Park Congregation for a divine service.
The Bible word for the divine service was taken from Genesis 18:32, ‘Then he said, "Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?" ‘And He said, "I will not destroy it for the sake of ten."’
The focus of the word was on the invitation to the souls in the realm of the departed. Abraham made an intercession on behalf of the people, for God to save them. We can also intercede for the souls who desire salvation to come and experience the love of Jesus.
District Elder D Erasmus was called upon to serve.
This blessed encounter in God's house concluded with the choir singing, “We will keep our faith alive".
