On Saturday 29 October 2022, Apostle Robert Worship conducted a divine service for Eureka and Avon congregations in Eureka. Just over 200 members, comprising both congregations as well as the Rectors of the Tygerberg district, were in attendance.

As basis for this divine service, the Bible word was taken from 2 Chronicles 15:7 “But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!”

A highlight of this divine service was the appointment of two new Rectors for the congregations. Community Evangelist Garron Halls (previously Rector of Eureka) was appointed Rector for Avon, and Priest Steven Taylor (previously Rector Helper of Balvenie) was appointed Rector for Eureka.

The Apostle wished them well in their respective tasks.
