“Sexual misconduct cannot be ignored…” these were the opening words of Apostle Patrick Liwakala at a special meeting hosted in Namibia from 21-23 October 2022.

The purpose of the meeting was to develop a plan to localise the sexual misconduct policy for the area of Namibia. The aim of having a policy is to affirm the church’s stance of no-tolerance and to support our society in dealing with matters of sexual misconduct. A task team consisting of counsellors, legal professionals and law enforcement officers were present to assist with the process.  The weekend ended with a divine service conducted by Apostle Liwakala in Omgulumbashi congregation.
