On Saturday 17 September 2022, Sunday School Coordinators and teachers of the Gauteng-Mpumalanga Area gathered at the Emalahleni Congregation to be trained on the new Sunday School curriculum.  Apostle Jerry Joubert, joining the session virtually, encouraged all the teachers to embrace the change and thanked them for their continued commitment to God’s children.

The session, facilitated by Sister Stephnie Klaasen, focused on the new elements and features in the curriculum. Teachers were given the opportunity to discuss and present a lesson. The new curriculum aims to make Sunday School more accessible to all children by catering to the various learning styles and introducing varied activities.

Much excitement for the new curriculum was generated at the session.  The trained teachers will now conduct further training in their districts and congregations to ensure that it can be successfully rolled out. 

The teachers left the session feeling very excited and ready to prepare for the new year.
