Keeping in the spirit of Thanksgiving, the musicians of Lentegeur district delivered a musical presentation which was held at Lentegeur congregation on Sunday, 09 October 2022.

Special invites went out to the matriculants of 2022 who will start their final examinations in a few weeks, the final year confirmands who will be confirmed in 2023 and their families, as well as the learner organists and their parents who started a development programme earlier this year.

During the address, the District Rector, Shepherd Gavin Van Der Hoven encouraged the matriculants and their parents to remain in prayer throughout their examinations. The confirmands and their parents were wished well as they ready themselves for their final term as a part of the Sunday School body.

The learner organists, who wowed the audience with their remarkable growth through the delivery of their entertaining musical items, were spurred on to keep going and tasked with the challenge to play during the Thanksgiving divine service for 2023.

Bursting with thankfulness as they prepare for their mission trip to Ceres in December, the choir and orchestra concluded the special musical presentation with the resounding words "Lord I am thankful for You."
