On Saturday 08 October 2022, the confirmands and teachers of Erica East Congregation embarked on a walk in the Tygerberg Nature Reserve.

The purpose of the walk was for the confirmands to enjoy nature and fellowship with their fellow confirmands. The nature reserve provided a tour guide to tell the group why it is important to preserve the natural habitat of the fynbos and species in the nature reserve.

On Sunday 09 October 2022, Community Evangelist Martin Mullins bestowed the golden wedding anniversary blessing on Deacon Errol Augustus (i.r) and his wife, Spasina. The couple acknowledged God’s hand and guidance in their marriage throughout their 50 years together. They were very thankful to share this blessing with the congregation of Erica East and their family who attended the divine service.
