Months of preparation were ultimately crowned when the Worcester Choir held a concert in preparation for Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, 29 September 2022 in Johnson Park church.
Opened by Bishop Jerome Cook, the scene was set for music of exceptional quality.
The auditorium was filled with songs of thanks and praise, from the outpouring of thanks in "Lord, Lord we thank Thee now", to the soul-stirring rendition of "Hy is wonderlik". To the assembled audience, this was music that would fittingly shake the foundations of heaven.
A recorder ensemble surprised all with their nimbleness portrayed in playing their instruments.
The conductors, JP Siljeur and Priest Dudley Adams were all smiles as the choir responded to every move they made.
Bishop Cook thanked the choir for all sacrifices made to ensure such a blessed and joyous rendition of songs of praise and worship.
The final anthem, "All Your works shall praise You" was the cherry on top to enhance the preparation for Thanksgiving Day.
