On Wednesday 28 September 2022, Bishop Jerome Cook conducted the midweek divine service at Slanghoek Congregation.
He used Psalm 115:2-3 as a basis for the divine service.
During the divine service, the Bishop placed Priest Klaas Pienaar and Deacon Sems Gordon in retirement. He used the opportunity to thank them for their labours of love and selfless sacrifices brought over the years.
After the conclusion of the divine service, the congregation enjoyed fellowship together.
