On Sunday 25 September 2022, Lavistown District hosted a Thanksgiving Choral with nearly 1 000 guests in attendance.
The music hour was opened in prayer by the District Rector, DEL B Scholtz.
Items rendered included 'How shall I praise Thy wondrous goodness', 'I sing praises', 'The Song of the soldier', 'To God be the glory' and 'Every praise'. A number of items received standing ovations, and a few renditions even got some up on their feet, to clap and sing along all to the honour and praise of God.
Participants included the seniors, youth, children, ministers and adult choirs, as well as the orchestra.
