Masakhe Foundation training

 

On Saturday 24 September 2022, the Masakhe Foundation concluded a six-week addiction awareness training programme for volunteers of the Bellville, Delft and Tygerberg districts. 

The venue for the training was Erica East Congregation which is situated in the community of Belhar.

The aim of the programme was to equip facilitators on various topics such as

-Understanding the role of the facilitator/support.

-Understanding addiction.

-The role of the family/friends of the addict.

-Assisting the addict.

-Healing the family.

Saturday's session concluded with a ceremony where the participants who attended all the sessions received a certificate from District Apostle J Kriel.
