God measures the effort and not the results

Beautiful organ, orchestral and choir renditions welcomed the members of Highbury Congregation as they awaited the blessings from the altar of grace through Apostle P Lambert on Thursday, 15 September 2022.

The Apostle was accompanied by the District Rector Shepherd C Hagglund.

The Bible word Luke 8:17 served as a basis for the divine service, “For nothing is secret that will not be revealed, nor anything hidden that will not be known and come to light.”

The Apostle referred to the Bible word and said the word is about that which is hidden. He said it is not always easy to understand the imperfectness of the church, but that we have to find the balance to accept the changes that take place within the church, for all will be revealed.

Before the serving of Holy Communion, eight babies received the gift of the Holy Spirit through the act of Holy Sealing.

After the closing prayer, the divine service was crowned with a powerful rendition of A mighty Fortress.
